INTRODUCTION TO RESORT OPERATION course introduces the fundamental concepts, categories, and key characteristics of resorts within the tourism and hospitality industry. The course emphasises on resort operations and management aspects, including guest services, facilities, recreational activities, as well as safety and security measures to ensure a safe and high-quality tourist experience. In addition, the course examines current global trends in the resort industry and their implications for sustainable resort management.

HOUSEKEEPING OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT introduces all aspects of hotel housekeeping operations including housekeeping department structure, inventory and equipment management, fabric and linen handling, housekeeping supplies, laundry, room and public area cleaning. This course also focuses on the overall housekeeping operation and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Students are also exposed to the implementation of sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact.
